I believe in the phrase, “Beauty begins with us and comes from within us,” because it is about how we feel about ourselves not how others see us. I personally, like to take care of my appearance. I do not do it to get compliments or my intentions are not to make others feel that I look beautiful. Actually, I do it for my own satisfaction because feel happier.

I always have to attend school in the mornings so even if I am late I would make sure to look neat. Also, if I feel like I have no energy then I would still do it. I won't leave any chances to take a little time for myself. My most favourite part is to my hair because I love my short hair. People are often fond of long hair but I really like my hair short. Then I wash my face with water and sometimes with face wash. I really don't like to use so many products on my face. If it's weekends then I would choose clothes to wear if I wanted to go out. After that, I would wear something I feel comfortable in. I love to do make up, lining my lips with brown lip liner and use my favourite lip combo. It may sound like a small thing but this changes my mood for real.

However, I also like to stay prepared when I am at home. In the past I never liked those but my mom keeps insisting, she told me, “If you stay prepared even at home, you will have positive vibes and attract positivity.” I thought she was just saying it because she wanted me to look neat and I was too lazy for that. But slowly, I understood what she meant.

One day, I was sitting at home in uncomfortable clothes and always feeling lazy in addition my mood was bad for no exact reason. Then, I decided to change my clothes and wear something nice, after that I styled my short hair. Then I was excited to see myself in the mirror guess what? I noticed not only my outside had changed but also my mood. To be honest, I kept looking at myself as if I had fallen in love, hehe. I won't lie to win against my mom but, I was truly feeling fresh and motivated. I guess, mother's are always right. After that, in a while, with a fresh mind I had finished my homework.

So, yeah taking care of ourselves does not always mean it's about beauty. Anyway, I have finally started to love myself and back in the past I never took care of myself which I shouldn't have done. Well, I have never dressed up for other people or maybe, but now I only dress up for myself. I feel pure from the inside and that feeling stays with me throughout the day. In the end, beauty truly begins with how we make ourselves feel.
