How To Stop Being Such A Loser

avatar
(Edited)

Fucking Jesus Christ the Trending page makes me want to kill myself. Honestly, I feel like it's my responsibility to write something half decent just so 1/100 posts on there won't be terrible.

I only briefly want to touch on this as I've already gone over it in several posts. So let's recap:

To get your post on the Trending page:

  1. Write your shitty post
  2. Pay for upvotes at steembottracker
  3. Pay for a few resteems from various bots
  4. ???
  5. Profit

Sounds great, right? The cool thing is that you can even do this several days in a row to keep your page up there and rack up even more fake internet money.

That said, expect to pay around $100 SBD per day that you promote the post in order to have enough juice to pump it. If you want to pump each post for 3 days (the maximum allowable before @GrumpyCat rapes you with a downvote), then that's $300 SBD/week.

$300 SBD = $600 USD
$600 USD x 4 posts = $2400 per week

$2400 isn't bad to stay on the front page of a "major" social networking platform indefinitely.

I'm not saying you're a bozo, but... you're a bozo

What's that? You don't have $2400? What are you some kind of fucking loser or something?

Listen, I understand if you live in India and make like $2/day. I was just in Malaysia and saw junkies sleeping on the street. I don't think they've ever even watched porn on the internet, let alone used Steemit. THOSE guys don't have a fucking chance, sadly.

But if you're living in a Western country where you have the opportunity to go out and make big boy money, what the fuck is your problem? Shit, even if all you have is an iPhone, you have enough tech to run a scalable business. What's your excuse?

Oh wah wah I have a job and six kids and my mama has a bum leg... fuck your mama. You trying to make some money or you trying to make some excuses?

Nobody cares about your excuses, my brothers. I don't care WHAT you want to do in life - if you make the decision RIGHT NOW that you're going to do it, then you can. And don't come at me with that, "Well ACKSHULLY you CAN'T be an NBA player if you're not a seven foot tall black guy." Fuck off.

Anyway, I forgot my point... alright. So... what was my point again? Shit. Something about STEEM... oh right. Yeah so you need money.

Actually, what you REALLY should do is save like $10k and move to Thailand. Assuming you're single with no responsibilities like a mortgage or kids, that is. And if you have kids, I don't know what to tell you. You're fucked. Unless you're a woman. Then just get married. And if you're married... I dunno, just get divorced and take half his shit. THEN move to Thailand.

Fuck... I'm getting off topic again. Anyway, the point of this article is that despite their "wants," most people are too lazy to be champions.

His Majesty @YallaPapi, King Of The Bozos

Most people don't have $2400, either. And they DEFINITELY don't have it to spend on fake internet money. And if they do, it's as an "investment." Not so a bunch of upvote-hunting losers can skim their posts to leave low-effort comments, too dim to create anything of value.

Shit, most people don't even have $240. And hey, I wasn't always a baller who opts for the $6 shawarma instead of the $4 one. I used to be a loser too.

A few years ago I was living in LA, my hometown. Shitty place unless you're making $10k/month, and even then it's nothing to write home about. Yeah sure if you're from... I dunno.. Iowa or something where the weather sucks then yeah, Cali seems pretty good. And LA does have a lot of beautiful women.

But the traffic is terrible, rent is expensive, and it's actually very boring and overhyped.

Anyway, there I was, living in LA and being a loser. I was even a fucking UBER driver of all things. And not even one of the cool ones that have bottled water and candy in the backseat of their Lexus, the ones who will drive-thru Jack In The Box for you and let you use their aux cable. Fuck that. I was bitter, like a smelly taxi cab driver who says shit like, "In my cahntry, I was a doc-tehr!"

Driving for Uber in LA is terrible. You don't make any money and the traffic literally makes you want to kill yourself. My only salvation was my daily hour and fifteen minute yoga class at the Equinox in West LA. It was only there that my body and mind were at peace with the world long for enough for me to forget that I was a 33 year old NEET, driving for Uber and living on hardboiled eggs and oatmeal.

The Way Of The NEET

My day literally looked like this:

  1. Wake up
  2. Drive for Uber
  3. Go to yoga
  4. Come home and eat
  5. Play Dota
  6. Drive for Uber again
  7. Come home and eat
  8. Play more Dota
  9. Sleep

Yoga was literally the best part of my day. Any yoga addicts reading this will understand. Any yoga addicts who take classes at Equinox West LA with Maeve REALLY understand.

So many beautiful 40+ MILFS....

Jesus Christ this guy just walked in and he smells so fucking bad... Oh my god bro, wash your feet.

Anyway, lots of hotties over there. All doing yoga. And they loved me. I spent as much time as possible at that beautiful place. Because I knew that when I left, I'd have to go back into the real world - driving around a bunch of people who were rich enough to pay for Ubers and go to trendy bars and taco stands.

Meanwhile, I was so fucking broke and hated driving for Uber so much, that I tried to figure out the absolute minimum amount of money I had to make every month in order to survive. It was something like this:

Rent: $1500/month
Equinox: $220/month
Everything else: As little as possible

I was eating hardboiled eggs and oatmeal literally for every meal. I would buy Frank's Red Hot Sauce and eat it with everything, just so the food I was eating would have some flavor. My parents, who live in La Quinta, would come down and visit once a month to stay with me. While officially under the auspices of "wanting to get out of the desert," I think they just wanted to spoil me with real human food while allowing me to preserve my dignity.

So here I was, 33 years old, no friends, a depressed Uber-driving fuckboy with no prospects, motivation or goals. Sure I had ideas, things I wanted to do. I'd work on them for an hour or two and then give up. You know how it is.

I had given up on making anything out of my life. While I hated my day-to-day experience, I loved doing yoga at Equinox. I loved my yoga teachers and my friends at the gym. I didn't want to give that up, and if driving for Uber and eating 20 hardboiled eggs a day was the price I had to pay, then so be it.

I lived like this for over a year.

Get ready for some pimples baby, cuz I'm about to breakout

One upside to driving for Uber was that I had lots of time to listen to audio books while I was driving around. Since I had no money, I pirated everything from various torrent sites. I'd just go hit up the Pirate Bay, filter by audiobooks and download everything I could fit on my phone.

Listened to some great books on there. I must have listened to all of Nassim Taleb's books at least 20 times each while playing Dota.

After exhausting all the books I found interesting, one day I found myself stuck in traffic without anything to listen to. I'd already listened to all the good stuff, so I figured I'd give the last book on my phone a try: "Be Obsessed Or Be Average," by Grant Cardone.

I pressed play and immediately wanted to throw my phone out the window. I hated this guy's voice. He was too high energy for me, like one of those used car salesmen you'd see on TV. It was terrible. I turned it off after 30 seconds.

Time passed and once again I found myself in the car with nothing to listen to. I figured I'd give ol' Grant another try, but this time skipped the introduction.

The first chapter was actually tolerable. I could tell he was of these self-help guys who tries to get you hyped about life. The book starts with him telling his own story. I won't ruin it for you in case you ever decide to read it some day, but suffice to say he was also once a loser like you - and me - and he pulled himself out of it through sheer determination.

He had an engaging delivery so I kept listening. Then I heard the part that hooked me.

I don't remember the exact phrasing, but he said something like:

"Getting what you want takes a tremendous amount of work. If you're not obsessed with making it happen, it never will. You have to get so hyped that you work 15 hour days 7 days a week until it happens. And then when it happens, you need to upgrade your goal into something else that gets you hyped so you don't stagnate."

Something like that. He explains it much better than I can. It was so rare to hear someone say that obsession is a good thing, I was just kind of caught off guard. Especially coming from my 6-day a week yoga habit where they preached things like "balance" and "being happy with yourself the way you are."

I kept listening, drinking every drop of Kool Aid from the Grant Cardone Goblet Of Hype. Halfway through listening to the book I knew I had to make a change - and I knew exactly what I was going to do: I was moving back to Australia.

Now, that's a story for another time, and definitely too long for a single Steemit post. But the point is that listening to that book was what made me realize that there was no easy way to get what I wanted. If I wanted to make the big bucks, have a truly interesting life, and become an "important person," then I had to become obsessed with the outcome.

Welcome to Treasure Island, ya cunt

I set off on my mission to Australia two months later. While I was there, I made more money than I'd ever made in my life. I was smart enough to save, and that's why I can play around on this stupid platform. That's why I spend two hours typing up 2700 words of bullshit from a hostel in Phuket, sitting next to Mr. Stinky Feet, and pay for a bunch of internet strangers to read it for no reason other than my own vanity.

As someone who changes his city/country often, I can't emphasize the importance of a change in scenery for refreshing your motivation. In Hebrew we say, "meshane makom, meshane mazal."

Change your place, change your luck.

And it's true. You go to a new place, meet people who don't know you're a loser, and you get a chance to start fresh. You can invent whatever persona you want for yourself and people don't know any better, so they just believe you. Stay in your hometown and all your "friends" and family members will snatch your ass right back down to their level once they see you trying to escape your hell.

You look at successful people today and you say, "wow, they're so lucky." But you don't see the years of shit they had to eat to get to where they are.

If you saw me in the Israeli army being depressed, doing mindless tasks and questioning my life choices, would you have been jealous?

If you saw me in the middle of the mall trying to sell hair straighteners to random girls, would you have said, "Wow he's so lucky!"

If you saw me stuck in LA traffic for 6 hours a day, driving for Uber, would you have wanted to trade places with me?

Fuck no.

Yet all of those situations lead me to where I am today - working from my computer in a tropical place, making fake internet money from companies that print fake internet money. Learning Muay Thai from dudes who don't speak English. Spending 3 hours a day working on my tan. Making friends from all over the world. Banging 22 year old Argentinian girls on their gap year. Making a name for myself in the crypto space while STILL managing to remain authentic - NOT being pigeonholed into writing sterile, sexless articles for CCN.

47 Lamborghini's in my Lamborghini account

There's no way to predict when you'll have your breakout moment. You just gotta do the work, but it's hard when you've already built yourself a little cocoon of Netflix and your loser friends. One thing I'm thankful for is my ability to abandon any situation, location, friend or even family member if they try to pop my balloon (just wish I could get rid of the girlfriends faster).

Life is too short for that shit. Some day we're all gonna feed the worms anyway, so you might as well make the most of it. Maybe you hurt your mommy's feelings or you have to dump your fat girlfriend. Boo hoo. Trust me, ripping off the band-aid is worth it. It hurts at first, but there's nothing like being free. You really can control your own destiny. You just have to do the work.

Three months ago I didn't even know what an ICO was. Now I have companies begging me to work with them, begging me to take their money. Why? Because I'm a blockchain expert? I don't even fucking understand how Bitcoin works.

But I've probably sent 3000 emails in the past three months, reaching out to people who do. I've written 100 articles on Steemit about crypto. I make it seem like I'm at least borderline intelligent enough to handle their business affairs properly.

Did I start like this? No way man. Two years ago I was an Uber-driving NEET, single-handedly keeping the hardboiled egg industry alive. Four months ago I was selling hair straighteners to a bunch of Arabs in one of the worst neighborhoods in Australia. Three months ago I was dropshipping bunny-shaped iPhone cases from AliExpress. Two months ago I started getting clients.

But you know what? Every day I wake up and my #1 priority is making enough money so I can stay in Thailand. I'm grateful for my past experiences, but I have no desire to go back to selling hair straighteners in kiosks. I've had a taste of the good life, of having so much money that I can buy 100 high karma Reddit accounts without thinking about it. Nonchalantly dropping a few $k into STEEM just to get attention from a bunch of randos on Steemit. Buying the $6 shawarma with extra chicken like I'm fucking Bill Gates or something.

And besides, I'm gonna be 35 this year. What's the famous quote? Lemme find it...

Great post as always. I have a question for you that I thought you would answer. you talk about in the beginning of your post that people pay $2400 per week to promote their posts and stay on the trending page. What is the return? Thanks and keep up the great face smacking posts.

Instead of asking me that question, I recommend you think of it this way:

Why do you want people to see your work?
Why are you promoting yourself?
What is the purpose?
If you used the bots at a loss, would you still do it?

Good luck.

I want to grow my writing skills and make a business out of it if possible. I feel like I have something to say but I need time to say it all well. If I can get paid while I develop my skills that is great and I could use the money.

To get this done here on Steemit I have to understand what the effective tactics are that work toward building up my finances. I do not have much money, and I also need to continue working on my writing every day which I do.

But I believe that good writing alone will not create a business here for me. There needs to be
more. You always talk about this. So I try and understand what else needs to be done, which is why I asked you the question. The more I know, the more I can use to get myself ahead.

Would I use the bots if they were not profitable? I would if there was another benefit that could get me ahead. I am investing my time here nearly every day taking away from things that can pay me a little but I am happy to do it if there is a future. So I do not have a problem paying to get ahead. But I have to know what I should be paying for. Hopefully this is clear.

Thanks.

Hmm.. well you asked for my advice, so I'm going to tear you apart.

I read a few of your posts. No offense but it doesn't look like you have anything to say at all. Nothing original at least. No personal stories or anecdotes. Nothing that made me want to read more. What's the difference between any of your articles and the billions of other SEO clickbait trash that's out there? What chance did you take? What part of yourself did you expose? Nothing.

I'm sure you have it inside you somewhere. We all do. But I can't find it on your page.

I see what you're trying to do because I used to do that too. That's actually how I started on here, was by writing 1-2 crypto articles per day. They started out like normal news articles. Then I let a little of my sense of humor creep in there. Now I'm writing trash like you see here.

Just depends on what you want. You want to "make a living" with your writing. Okay, go sign up for eLance or whatever they're calling it now and sell your services. Go self publish erotica on Amazon. You can always find work as a writer doing 300 word articles for companies. Make a profile and start looking for work.

But I don't think you've found your voice yet. Or you want to write a book? Work the "female entrepreneur" angle or the "racial minority + female entrepreneur" angle. Sounds shallow, but you have to work with what you've got. Or I don't know, just say what's inside. I got nothing from your posts. No idea of you you are, what your story is and why I should care. It's not that I heard your story and don't care. I didn't hear it. All I saw was more of the same Cosmo quiz 8 steps to keep your man satisfied garbage.

Don't look to Steemit to earn a living unless:

  1. You're prepared to show your face/body and milk the thirsty circle-jerkers on here for their $0.09 upvotes
  2. You can write something that can arouse some sort of emotional response in people
  3. Both 1 & 2

Every time I talk to a girl who wants to do something with her life, I always tell her to use her looks to her advantage. Men are stupid. Our brains don't work when we're in the presence of girls. Double if they're wearing less clothing than normal. To not use that to your advantage is just plain stupid, especially if you actually want to achieve success.

Your problem isn't vote bots. Your problem is that you don't actually want it bad enough. You're too scared of failing to put yourself out there, to show the real you. Vote bots don't matter. Money doesn't matter. If you wanted it bad enough you'd find a way to get the exposure and make it happen. Look at your reasons for wanting what you want. If they're strong enough then you won't need my advice because you'll be too busy doing the work to consider asking ANYONE for advice.

In fact, your whole thinking is off. "good writing alone will not create a business for me here." First of all, that just sounds like an excuse to not be a good writer.

Second, nothing "creates a business for you." You create the business. Have you created one yet? Doesn't look like it. How many potential clients have you contacted? Probably none. How many emails have you sent to businesses offering your services? Also probably none. Stop looking for advice and start asking people to give you money in exchange for work. Good luck.

Thanks for your comments. They are noted. I am getting it believe it or not. Taking some time but slowly getting an understanding.

My writing will get better over time. No worries for me there. You do anything with intent long enough and you improve. But beginning on this platform is tough because there is no direction. I started out really putting up stronger content. I had to back off because volume seems to be more effective. Just my observations.

In terms of giving more of myself and wearing less clothes, etc off course I get that. It might come to that but not quite yet. It is different for a girl as you know. Not ruling it out but not just yet. I have to gauge the return for me which is what I am trying to do now. I see a few girls here doing that and nothing is happening for them, so that alone won't necessarily get it done. But again, I am calculating it all. If it is possible for me I will get it right.

Your comments, candor and time are very appreciated. I have gotten a lot out of them. You are a sweetheart. Thanks again. :)

AGREED about the trending page.

Your posts are the only long-form ones I actually finish on Steemit. Funny and refreshing and non-bullshitty. Love it.

Although I don't fully agree with the 'eat, drink, and be merry' perspective (I had a religious upbringing - shoot me) you've got some motivational gems in here I find intriguing - going off to look up Grant Cardone now!

@yallapapi my situation now is simple
I am a 17 year old guy in india
I make money through crypto trading and I am trying to make enough money to move to Thailand or any good place
I am trapped in this bullshit education system.
I don't have time to do anything that I want to do.
Hell thanks to this stupid crash my portfolio is going to the ground, listening to Bob Marley is not helping now and I don't even have enough money to buy upvotes.
So I know that you will not even see this comment
So that's it

haha, not everyone may see this comment, but I do. Crypto gave you money, and now it took some back, so what's wrong with it.

The only problem with you now is that you were dependent only on crypto trading. Find more source of income.
Like writing on steemit( It will not give you money even if you write good) or doing something on bitcointalk.org or something else.

Make some money for next few months, add more to your portfolio, and when the bull markets come, withdraw money then.

This is the circle of life buddy.

You have got a lot of time. You are still very young.
And it is very good that you are looking towards becoming financially independent and your future but don't be so hard on yourself.

You have got your entire life to make money, but as of now enjoy and make money.

However rich or poor you are, the moments you will miss now will never come back.

Get a degree from India . Education is cheapest in India . Just compare the college prices of countries around the world . You should quit trading , steeming or minimize it . Your main focus should be your education . Your education will define your future not the cryptos .

or get educated here and actually build something that's ready for you when you are, you make a fine point about education, but that gets you in tunnel vision as much as social medias distract the sanity from you.

But if you know what you are doing and how to do it, it's quite easy, I will say "You will define your future!" not education where you have to be subservient worker (probably) In education's case if you use it, it can make you a great person, maybe a living legend, but anything can do that if you put in the effort and the brains.

So I have to say I actually agree with you, I see it a bit differently, but in comparison to being a market slave and waiting whole years for whatever, it's not a great deal, I have to say I've barely made up my losses in trading, something I'm not sure is fair to the way I've earned them :)

Not exactly the kind of motivational article people look for, but if one reads the entire article, it gets the thing done.

You have been through a lot of shit, that made you so strong that you don't give any shit anymore for anything.

The persistence to become great will drive you to a great destiny.
You stick to do something better in your life, never giving up.

It may sound some cheesy stuff of not giving up, but it is quite important in life, because most of the people would break down the moment you were going through the Uber time.

But you didn't, you changed your life, and again life sucked while you were selling the hair straighteners, so you changed it again and again till the moment came when life didn't suck anymore.

This is the only thing that made you better than a whole lot of the world.
Hope you keep going on.

Yeah. You are spot on @looftee

At a point i almost stopped reading seeing those "f" words rampaging in the content. But something about @yallapapi's originality glued me.

This is a timeless article.

It is a masterpiece on resoluteness, sheer effort, doggedness, and positive energy.

To change our situations, we must be willing to learn. The tonic needed was that Grant Cardone's message. This is one issue all of us have per time. I read biographies more than any other kind of books, or motivational classics that tells of people's personal journey, far more than those with "laws" and "principles". When we become opened to another's stories, we find ourselves in a piece of it, and while we may not be required to do exactly what they did to break out, it opened us to a new level of awareness and energy for life to make things happen.

That's true, the most important point to take from this post is that we need to adapt to change in our life and not stagnate in one place or in being one thing.

You are so right @looftee, this is the kind of speech the teens needed, not all that milk-type of motivation.

I mean i was glued from the beginning to the end of the article, didn't even feel like a sec has passed, it was engaging all through.

Life throws shit at all of us but what we make out of it is what matters, do we sulk and hide under the table or do you get up and give it another shot? i go for the latter.

Great post @yallapapi

Or

  2. Film that greatness

I've actually been thinking of doing like a 24 Hour Unlimited Hooker Challenge, where you sleep with as many prostitutes in 24 hours as possible and making a vlog about the whole thing. We'll see.

I hope my mom never finds Steemit.

There's a whole lot of Truth in what you speak and a lot of people may not like it but I think that those who will take the time and listen and apply what you say will probably be better off. Wow, a very motivational and extended story.

My favorite parts are you in LA being a "shitty uber driver, not the kind with water bottles driving around a Lexus." Lol. Wow I can't believe all you ate was hard boiled eggs and oatmeal. Maybe I'll pick up that diet - it sounds like a spartan diet. I have like $1000 of credit card debt I need to get out of so that sounds like a good start. What did you like most about the yoga classes? Did you score with the hot milfs?

I'm confused exactly what you did once you moved back to Australia? Was it Instagram/Steemit solely? I like your quote about the guy needing to work 15 hours a day, 7 days a week until you get that outcome. I need that type of drive! Nothing comes easy. Truly awesome post man.

Great workout, mad gainz in flexibility, strong core... it just reshapes your body. Plus when you learn to control your breathing, you get a high at the end of class which lasts for a few hours. And you do it all while surrounded by beautiful trophy wives and miscellaneous hot LA chicks.

Will make a post about Oz in the future.

Being a loser sucks, not being able to do anything about it sucks even more. The frustration rides your mind like a 🐎 .
And invariably, you pant as it goes. You get driven astray and greed takes the day.
Nevertheless, hope is a count. Amongst many alternatives it lasts; working it out till the very end is what an advice my heart has.
Yet am still at the border of losing and fancy words is all I’ve got.

YES! I love this post. Say it how it is and real talk!!!!!!!!

I know you once paid people to read your posts (lol -sorry not sorry), but I think its crazy how people are spending money on their crap posts for upvotes (cringe). It's like paying for popularity and buying friends and likes. Just be genuine! And like you said, go change your scenery and LIVE a little!

Its also funny how the online world can portray unreality. You basically choose what you want people to see, but I think people are more likeable when they just stop hiding behind the internet curtain and just be themselves and be authentic.

I am not knocking Steemit as I believe in what it is supposed to stand for. But sadly like most things, you start getting people using fake bots and articles that are rubbish getting to the trending page... Its not much better than FB in that respect, people paying for advertising to boost their clickbait articles and them appearing in your newsfeed...

Anyway, i'll just be over here, writing blogs to my 70 followers and perhaps one day my following and upvotes will grow organically, and if not, then Steemit just isn't for me! I am definitely not paying a bot to upvote my stuff, even if I do take the time to write my posts and make them look pretty.

Anyway, welldone for stepping outside the bubble and creating a life for yourself :)

Talented writer!, got me reading from beginning to end!
i-must-resteem...

I miss the good old pirate bay!, is still around but you don't find as much as before.. i support piracy... in the matter that is good to know / see / try some content, and if you like it go buy it..and support the artist, creators that made it possible.

like in movies, they should give free samples in low res and just sell the HD or something like that, same for music, i dont know... there is so much taken down in the name of "God" or "Copyrights", and usually on both of those sides that say to fight for what is right but it tends to go to the opposite at the end,... to much law / power and no common sense !

For example i would like to see more movies etc in d.tube, i might have some content to upload, just that i would deny payout on that content since it does not belongs to me, and i would do it for entertainment educative purposes and placing in the info, authors, etc in the description below the video.

knowledge should not be copyrighted

LA sucks :) Surprisingly I have met quite a few people who were from LA who came here to Alaska to get away from the place. Me from Alaska when I visit LA I have a great time. Cheap booze and the sun. Tourist attractions like the massive amount of homeless people sleeping against the police station. Everything I know about people and rules do not exist there :) For christ sakes you have to pay to use a toilet there and you are NOT allowed to pee in the bushes.

The part about moving is very true. I've moved cities three times in my life, and I've noticed that each time my personality and the way I interact with people changed a little bit. Probably because nobody there knows me and in order to make a good first impression, I build a new persona for myself.

That's one of the hardest things about writing. Sometimes you write an inspired piece that's so good, you can't believe it came out of you. But then when you try to write something in the future, it just doesn't measure up. You end up chasing the lightning... a good problem, I guess.

Sorry to break the news to you, but you are still a loser. You have no purpose. You are a taker.

You've clearly got talent. You're a great writer. Now go find your purpose. Be driven by love, not by fear, the fear of not having enough money to continue to live in Thailand and "bang" young women who are looking for love and have not yet learned to avoid men like you. Be a giver. Grow up, dude.

0
0
0.000
avatar

LOL look at this guy. You're right, I am still a loser, but not for the reasons you listed.

Yes, I am a taker. That is my purpose. To take.

But the trick is to take from people who want to give to you. And if they don't want to, you do everything you can to make them want to. Especially the ones looking for love. Those are my favorite ones.

From your post, it appears that you have chosen the path of selfishness. "Those who are selfish shall not taste true love." It is a foolish path, and those who follow your example are the bigger fools. When you are older, you will not be proud of the wake of destruction and heartbreak that you have left, and you will find that you have surrounded yourself with people just like yourself.

Giving really is better than receiving. A life of taking is a life driven by fear. It is the life of a cancer cell.

I might have you all wrong. I'm just going from your well written and entertaining post. The real test is whether you are the kind of man who pisses all over the toilet seat, or the kind of man who lifts the seat back out of the way so that the next asshole to enter the stall won't piss all over it.

Even in a two line post, you exhibit that you think of people as objects. There is another way to see things, in which each encounter is sacred, each person is sacred, and life is experienced with purpose and duty. Rather than toy with me, reflect on my words, on whether the pleasures of life are bringing you happiness, and on where you will be when you are my age (63) if you continue on your path. Good luck and best regards.

Even if you want to add some fresh and new content, even first post in some tag, share some of your irl experience about making money, leading a business - you wont get through all this spam. I relate to you in some ways. Also 35. I've spent time in SE Asia and traveled/lived different places in the USA. Thailand is amazing but Laos was my favorite overall I think.

At various points on my journey, I got into some bad circumstances, and all that stuff kinda caught up with me these last few years. Stuff has been rough for me, but I've come to a lot of the same conclusions about how it's just hard work and you gotta do it. I know what I want. I've been working hard and slowly making progress on my dream, but it gets discouraging at times. Some parts of this felt like you were speaking directly to me. Thank you. 🙂

I guess tl;dr isn't applicable if Yallapapi is trying to give us Steemians solid life advice over the Steem platform. As a new user (I'm learning the term minnow), I'm still figuring out this space before I become a statistical drop-out. Anyway, I was under the impression that bots aren't controlling the content we see on this site. Is that not the case?

So I started reading this article and almost stopped because I was like, what? What is this guy getting to? Is this just an angry, depressed rant? I felt compelled to continue reading because I was so curious to see where it was going. Then you threw in the Grant Cardone curveball and I just had to follow it through. I love Grant Cardone, have been digesting his content and even read a couple of his books too, so I was like, huh, cool. Then you kind of bashed him a little and I was like, yeah but Grant's still awesome and he has made millions. Anyways, yallapapi, I totally dig your cadence and I appreciate you sharing your experiences here. This is the first article of yours I've read, and it looks like I'm just so curious about your other writings now that I just have to "follow" you. Thanks, more on my list of people to read. Super. Duper.
:)
For real though, you are a bit of an inspiration to those of us who are self-aware enough to be like, yea I gotta change shit if I'm ever going to get where I want to be. Soooo thanks!

Man, you just described my life currently in perfect detail. I own a small security company and deliver food for door dash on the side. While not a full neet, It sure is starting to feel that way as my age is forcing me out of various job markets. Lately, I've felt like I've been one step away from making some major changes in my life and finally be free. (P.R. is looking nice if you dont mind a little wind and rain.) Thank you for this post it's exactly what I needed to read.

Surround yourself with people having same goal
Read books.
Never give up : Believe in yourself and keep moving. ✌✌

Don't booze or use drugs just because you think it is ‘totally cool'.
Don't be possessive, Nothing is yours.
It's okay to be emotional, But don't show it.
Fake people attract you more. True ones are boring.

Never stop moving in life.
Know yourself,
Be yourself,
Spend some time with yourself,
Never lie To yourself,
Because it is “YOU“ a friend for Life Time.
Problems in life comes unexpectedly. Be well prepared emotionally

Holy shit yallapapi...I almost didn't get to post a comment after clicking on your friggin links in the post; but, I loved every minute of it. You're already in Thailand, and I've been trying to figure out a fucking way to get there. Even made a recent post about it...well, kind of...
Anyway, I'm about twice your age (old) and without money, so I guess I'm still young cause according to Tennessee, we have to be one or the other. So, back to my point, I'm twice this guys age and back up what he says here...Take heed my young friends...take heed. Don't be a shmuck your 'entire' life; wake up.

focus on the work you are living, do not be too much in doing something, take advantage of the best time that you can do or all of us, work or doing business is the way we earn income for the future that we dream, if we now many we can do for the sake of finding the identity.

Awesome post man. I'm just getting my feet wet but I want to go bigger. One thing I have not found any good articles on is how much, and how long, you have to promote a [quality] post to really get enough traction that you get enough organic growth along with it that you make more then you spent. Also, it can be hard to figure out which voting bots actually give a profitable ROI.

"Three months ago I was dropshipping bunny-shaped iPhone cases from AliExpress. Two months ago I started getting clients." - When you say you started getting clients, do you mean for ecommerce related work? Asking because I'm running a small, ecommerce/brand management and marketing business. I noticed a lot of similarities in how our lives have changed, and it would be funny f we dp the same kind of work as well. Like you say about change your location, change your luck. I've experienced this as well. Cheers man! I made you a 'Nardo

This kind of motivational post was what I needed today, Im struggling In Venezuela, Inflation is crushing us and my brain is divided in how to save money, how to invest money and how to buy wisely, meanwhile my wife beleave i am strange, or im having an affair because im immersed in distraction.

Honestly I will apply the " Meshane makon, meshane mazal", it wont guarantee me success but it wuld make me get out of all this shit.

these comments are nothing but a circle jerk on how inspiring this dick is.

Really, you all now motivated start gaming the STEEM system and boost your shitty motivational 'you can do it too' posts.

I'm a loser by not obsessing about money and having no friends? but... I live in a parasitic bubble that floats in a third world paradise.

You think its so easy, even this twat can do it. Fuck it, I'll see if I can boost a post about using crypto for something besides a giant circle jerk, and only get downvoted.
