There’s a house I often notice tucked away in the middle of the forest. Hidden among thousands of towering pine trees, it almost disappears into the landscape, as if nature decided to keep it a secret. From a distance, it looks like a tiny sanctuary surrounded by endless green, and every time I see it, it seems to wear a different mood.
जंगल के बीचों-बीच एक घर है, जिस पर मेरी नज़र अक्सर ठहर जाती है। हज़ारों ऊँचे-ऊँचे देवदार के पेड़ों के बीच छिपा हुआ, वह इस तरह घुल-मिल जाता है मानो प्रकृति ने उसे दुनिया की नज़रों से बचाकर रखा हो। दूर से देखने पर वह हरियाली के अनंत समंदर के बीच बसा एक छोटा-सा आशियाना लगता है, और सबसे ख़ास बात यह है कि हर बार उसे देखने पर उसका रूप कुछ अलग ही दिखाई देता है।
Some days it blends so perfectly with the forest that you barely notice it. On misty mornings, it appears soft and mysterious, almost floating between the trees. During the rain, it feels quiet and untouched, wrapped in the peaceful silence that only the hills can create.
कुछ दिनों में वह घर जंगल का ऐसा हिस्सा बन जाता है कि उस पर नज़र ही नहीं पड़ती। धुंध भरी सुबहों में वह इतना शांत और रहस्यमयी दिखाई देता है, मानो पेड़ों के बीच तैर रहा हो। बारिश के दिनों में तो उसकी खूबसूरती और भी बढ़ जाती है। चारों ओर फैली ख़ामोशी, भीगी हुई देवदार की खुशबू और पहाड़ों की सुकून भरी नीरवता उसे ऐसा एहसास देती है, जैसे समय वहाँ ठहर-सा गया हो।
Yesterday,the clouds had covered most of the sky, leaving the hills beneath a deep, dramatic shade. Then, as if for just a brief moment, a beam of sunlight broke through the heavy clouds and landed directly on the little house and its garden. Everything around it remained dark, yet that one spot glowed with a warm light.
कल, आसमान का ज़्यादातर हिस्सा घने बादलों से ढका हुआ था, जिससे पूरी पहाड़ी गहरे साए में डूबी हुई लग रही थी। तभी, जैसे कुछ ही पलों के लिए, सूरज की एक सुनहरी किरण बादलों को चीरते हुए सीधे उस छोटे-से घर और उसके बगीचे पर आ गिरी। आसपास की पूरी पहाड़ी अब भी अंधेरे में थी, लेकिन वह एक छोटा-सा कोना गर्म, सुनहरी रोशनी से इस तरह जगमगा उठा, मानो प्रकृति ने उसी पर अपनी नज़र ठहरा दी हो।
