How can we keep the door open for donations from other countries so Venezuela can buy blankets and flashlights for the child survivors who are in a difficult situation?

When I saw the sudden news about the earthquake in Venezuela, taking the lives of so many people both young and old, keeping so many homeless and wondering around looking for aid, I was devastated even to the extend of tears running down my eyes.

When I saw the newborn baby being pulled out from the dusty, heavy bricks to the father without any scratches I was happy and then I saw the mother being interviewed, talking about how she hold on to her baby, believing she can pull through as far as her child is alive, I was even amazed about the resilience mothers have to even in the mist of crisis.

I know every country has their different challenges they have been battling for years almost without ending, making even the late Micheal Jackson singing about it, that does not mean those countries and individuals in those countries can't help.

I know there are different non governmental organizations who are generous and passionate about the welfare of those affected especially children who needs alot of assistance, including comfort for those that lost their loved ones,their homes.

looking for people to donate to support them, the truth is after some certain days or weeks everyone will probably forget about what happens except those that are affected. To continually keep the donation coming from other countries, continues social media broadcast, from news outlets would be necessary. Campaign from churches, schools will keep the children and those affected visible to the world.

Because alot of person's wants to know where their funds is going, having transparency in the funds being donated of which is mostly carrie out by the government and non governmental organizations, this will build trust which will prompt more persons to give. Let's say a particular amount is donated, they should publish every item gotten with that money for everyone to see.

I feel alot of countries also have strict rules when donations are being made to another country, the government should try to lower the necessary paperwork or fees that would discourage alot of person's from donating.

Having this and so much more can increase the chances of these earthquake victims to bounce back and without falling into constant depressed mood, still know that the world still have alot of love in it to give.
