If you could time travel back to the year 2000 with $1000 what would you do ?

I would buy apple stock after the .com bubble 1.14 per share. = 877 shares

December of 2011 I would sell it for 55 dollars a share. $ 48,245

December 2011 I would buy bitcoin for $2.00 24122 bitcoin :-) (I would pee a bit owning that many bitcoin)

2014 I would sell bitcoins for $940 22 million dollars.

8/25/2015 I would buy 105,959 bitcoin @ 214 a pop

6/09/2017 I would sell bitcoin for 317 million dollars ..... or maby i would have sold 3 months earlier and bought all of the etherum that was available at the time :-)

Ether way I would drive a Bugatti into a volcano to celebrate !!!!

Why then? Why not buy it for $0.003 in April 2010? $3 got you 1000 BitCoin

Apple was at $37 which would give you about $32,200, less than your $48,000.
But, you could purchase 10,733,333 BitCoin.
Then if you sold it at $3,000 on July 11th, 2017.
You would have $32,200,000,000 .

You could buy Bugatti from Volkswagen.

You can check my math, I've been known to flub it.

No problem lol I was just going off the numbers i got off google. That is a good idea to buy all of Bugatti I set my dreams to low lol thanks for the feedback. I was also taking into consideration the fact that dumping all of the coins at one time would bottom out the price.

Also it was very hard to buy bitcoin right when it came out. the easiest time to buy was the 38cent plus days. you could prolly mine alot of coin also back before ASIC

According to Wikipedia, there was an exchange at that time, but it is down defunct.

Even if you couldn't get your $32 billion out of your coins due to the dump. You could sell just $2 billion and maybe VW would sell Bugatti to you, since they reportedly lose $6 million per car that they sell.
