Life can only be understood backwards; but it must be lived forwards.
The rapid rise of social media accounts has made it a universal judging ground for others. I have seen many a times that people try to make opinion about others by watching their post and photographs in their social media account. People often judge others on social media by forming quick opinions based on curated photos, post topics, and perceived "perfection" or "bragging". Observers frequently judge actions without understanding the context, using personal preferences to classify individuals as competent or appealing. There are many chances that old content may come to haunt the person over the later stage of life. I believe it is upon the observer how they judge others by analysing in a better way.

Recently, during marriage alliance profiling, watching a social media account of a boy has now become a trend. My relatives made a quick judgment about the boy by looking at some of his old picture. The account has old photographs of the boy that belongs to his college day. It was those phase in life when most of the young generation like to live a carefree life. But with the course of time many things develop and person may get maturity with each passing years and experience in life. In my personal opinion, we should analyze the different situation and phases rather than coming into any kind of quick conclusion by mere looking at past events.
Cherish the past, capture the present, inspire the future
Whether past controversial thoughts should affect a person’s life is a complex question with no single answer, as it involves balancing accountability with the human capacity for growth. Generally, while past thoughts do not define a person's entire character, they can, and often do, influence their present life, relationships, and self-perception. Reflecting on past controversial thoughts or mistakes can be a crucial learning opportunity, allowing individuals to understand their behavior, develop empathy, and grow. Like in the case discussed above about the boy profile. Mere analysing over the post if critical. As the boy is now currently employed with a reputed company and ever since he grown into adulthood he stopped accessing his profile much. Thereby unable to get the clear picture of his new mindset. People.used to grow over the time and not everything it is mindful to brag about themselves. It is good remain silent and let the people know about the qualities you possess.
Humans are capable of evolving, and a thought someone had years ago may not reflect their current values, beliefs, or actions. Constantly ruminating on past errors can lead to anxiety, depression, and low self esteem. While the past informs our present, it does not have to define our future. The goal is often to use the past as a tool for understanding, rather than a chain that restricts growth.
In good faith - Peace!!
