5th HPUD This Year!

I repeat myself on the first of every month, but the importance of this routine needs to be emphasized regularly, especially for newer or less experienced users.
You know, in these strange times, when the crypto markets are bleeding, it's best to remain calm and focused. This is particularly evident in our blockchain; I’ve been here for nearly ten years, and I don’t recall the price of Hive ever being this low. It has never been easier, with Hive at a very low price, to grow your Hive power!
And where is the secret? By doing so, you're growing, and the entire blockchain grows with you. So, I convert all liquid Hive into Hive Power.
The first day of the month has always been the day for HPUD, at least for me.
Hive Power is a key driver of growth.
In fact, it's pretty simple - the more Hive Power you have, the more influence you have!
To continue, HPUD or Hive Power Up Day is a great way to get a boost. HPUD, the 5th of this year (mine is 74th in a row), gives you that opportunity, as it does on the first of every month.
You receive certain benefits on the first day of each month, but you can power up at any time.

More than six years ago, @nickyhavey (kudos to him!) highlighted the numerous benefits that still hold today:
Stronger votes on content, witnesses, and proposals - although you may not see this in the first instance if you stay for a longer time and keep powering up as I have over the last few years, then you will notice the cumulative effect;

Earning more curation rewards - kinda goes with point 1, but the way it works is that if you upvote content, you will earn as well (known as curation rewards), so the more Hive Power you have, the more you can potentially earn back.

Earning "interest" by holding/staking Hive Power - maybe you didn't know this, but you will also earn HIVE passively at about 3.5% per year of what you currently have powered up, so the more HIVE you have, the more you can earn from just holding/staking!

Earn by delegating - delegating is effectively "loaning" out your HIVE Power to others, and some accounts may offer you a daily payment for doing so. If you delegate more, you can earn more and grow your balance even more!

How to do Power Up?
It's still relatively simple in all Hive blockchain front-ends.
Go to your Wallet >> Power Up, enter the amount you want, and confirm the transaction via authorization services, such as Keychain or HiveSigner.

Not!
On the @ecency website https://ecency.com/market#swap, you can easily SWAP your free (not staked) HBD for Hive! No fees!

Oh, sorry for the delay in response, please go your ecency app, open up your wallet and then click on stake and put in the number of Hives you want to power up on the open dialong box and click submit and then the confirm button 😀
On the other hand, open your Hive app and on the page click on hive then click on power up and input the number of Hives you want to power up, and click the submit followed by the confirm button.
That way you have powered up.
You will get a notification by @hivebuzz that you have powered up.
For today which is the 1st day of the month and wvery other 1st day of the month, you can power up and get some other benefits.
However you can also power up every other day in the month.

Yes, I learnt that as well. It seems that benefit is good to aim at ,the reason I always reserve something reasonably for the HPUD. But it is okay. I am happy I didn’t miss out completely.

Actually, that’s not the fastest way. The fastest way is to buy a large amount of Hive on an external exchange and then power up.
