Protein is called the 'building block' of the body. Protein works directly in the formation of muscles in our body, repair of damage and cell growth. It is also essential for the production of hormones and enzymes in the body. Without adequate protein, the body becomes weak and the immune system decreases. So in our daily food protein is must.

Vegetables are the main source of vitamins, minerals and fiber. They help to keep various internal processes of our body active. Fiber-rich foods improve the digestive process and eliminate the problem of constipation. The antioxidants in vegetables protect the body from long-term diseases.

It is better to follow a specific routine when eating food. Protein foods are usually best kept for lunch, because protein takes some time to digest. Dinner should be light, so it is better to reduce the amount of protein at night and focus on vegetables and fibrous foods. A healthy normal person needs an average of 0.8 grams to 1 gram of protein per kilogram of body weight per day. That is, if you weigh 60 kg, you need about 48 to 60 grams of protein daily. However, those who do a lot of physical work or exercise may have little more protein requirement.

Carbohydrates are the main source of energy for our body. Without it, the body will not get the energy to work. However, you have to be aware of the amount. Eating too many carbohydrates or sugary foods will cause fat to accumulate in the body. So, it is healthy to eat half or a little more than half of the plate with vegetables and protein, and keep the rest as carbohydrate.

​Excess of everything is harmful. Consuming excess protein can cause critical problems. The kidneys have to work extra hard to remove excess protein from the body. Those who already have kidney problems should consult a doctor about eating protein. Eating too much protein can often cause digestive problems. Eating too much meat can increase the level of uric acid in the blood, which can cause gout and arthritis.
