Is there any other major exchange apart from Bittrex for trading SBD? Steem, as I understand, is supported on a lot more exchanges though, including the most popular one these days, Binance.
In fact the only reason I stick with Bittrex these days is to liquidate SBD - or else most of the coins I use are on Binance which is cheaper and far mor user friendly than Bittrex.

Not really. Bittrex is the best option to sell SBD or you can use the internal market to sell SBD for Steem and move Steem to Binance.
