In a clothing swap participants exchange their valued but no longer used clothing for clothing they will use.

Clothing swaps are a great way to consume less clothes. It's an easy concept that works really well. Just invite a group of people, everyone bringing clothes that they wish to share and then the magic begins. You can set up your own rules but I like to have it as open as possible. It's amazing how everything just works out perfectly in a synchronistic way according to my experience...

I recommend having regular meet-ups and make sure you have a plan if some of the clothes doesn't find a new owner. You can have a gift shop set up at home where anyone that visits can botanize in. One can also give it away to a charity organization or a Second Hand Store...

clothswapping especially in Greek squats is what is usually done for decades now, and since the crisis a big portion of the greek people too!

Heh really love the concept. I often do similar thing with my friends. Some of them get fater and they just can fit in their clothes so they give it me😂

The women in my area get together for clothes swaps often. Unfortunately, there has yet to be any men involved and it's not very useful to be the only one :)

Yesterday my wife was exploring a shoe collection movement. How its founder has been able to provide footware for millions of underserved people in troubled parts of the world. Your clothing swap program I would imagine could be used in the same manner when the sharing is done and reached capacity in the local area.
