My Own Language

She woke up fluent in a language no one else remembered. She had words in her head that were pronounced in a very specific way; it was incredible and inexplicable, perhaps the product of ancient magic from an era when a dead language was spoken.

She ran to tell her mother that she had discovered a language from millennia ago. In the kitchen, waving her arms, she said to her mother while she was cooking soup:

"Mom, listen... мин борынгы Ndowooza omulogo okuva mu, millennii fà hà fattu un incantesimu per chì a cunniscenza di sta lingua ùn sparisca micca, овој јазик без разлика колку време ќе помине. Неверојатно е, нели?"

And her mother replied, very confused:

"What did you say?"
