There is no way HIVE is more centralized than STEEM.
STEEM is not a company, but it is now controlled by one company (the Tron Foundation). If any of the witnesses step out of line they will lose their genesis stake votes and lose their witness positions.
What evidence are you saying? So where does the economic value come from ?? Someone should buy it. Is that bad? The value of your voting is because someone buys you. Are you ignoring the new witnesses now? Do you ignore the communities voting on them?
So what? Just do what your old Witnesses do. If you don't want this, don't do it either. Don't comment on spam. Don't take advantage of SPS. Don't selfvote.

Perhaps it had bugs on it, because most trees do.
But it was still strongly rooted.
