Two Years on Hive: What I Appreciate and What I Think Can Improve

I have spent almost two years on Hive, and one thing I genuinely appreciate about it is how it gives people the freedom to participate in different kinds of activities instead of being limited to just one thing. For instance, when I first joined Hive, I started with posting about singing because that was one area I felt comfortable sharing at the time. As time went on, I began to try other things and gradually moved into DIY projects, where I could create things and share them with others. I also spent a lot of time writing, which has helped me express my thoughts better and improve my confidence. For me, being able to move from one interest to another and still find a place for each of them on Hive is something I truly admire.

Another thing I really like about Hive is that it has been a strong support system for me financially, especially during my time in school. Honestly, there have been many moments when Hive came through for me when I had very limited options. I remember when I entered my final year, and the money coming from home was no longer enough to cover my needs. At that point, even simple daily expenses became something I had to think carefully about. Sometimes, it was feeding, sometimes transport, and other times, small personal needs that could not be ignored. During that period, Hive became the main way I could get something for myself and manage those little expenses. That is why I do not just see hiv as an online platform, but also as something that has truly contributed to my survival at important moments in my life.

One thing I would say i think is not so good about Hive is that it can sometimes be easy for people to lose their money if they are not careful enough. I feel the platform could improve more in terms of security, especially by introducing stronger protection like two-factor authentication or other systems that can help prevent scams. I have seen cases where people lost access to their funds after clicking suspicious links or falling for impersonation from people pretending to be someone else. Situations like that are discouraging, especially for new users who may not yet understand how sensitive security is on the platform. I believe better awareness and stronger protection would make Hive even safer for everyone.

Thanks for reading.

A very important point. Here on hive, there is no restriction. You choose communities you share your contents.

And hive has really came through for most of us even until now. A blockchain with a difference.
