Input from people about what to add, new STEEM based dApps, and so forth, will help. Working with the community to help build it benefits everyone here.

Awesome. I’m in the process of developing an in person steemit training (focusing on blogging first, and not the other dapps) and also did some online training workshops a few months back. I definitely believe an easier startup experience on here is key.

Should you have any thoughts or ideas for improvement please do let @jongolson know. This is a community comprised of a wealth of knowledge. Let's work together whenever possible to expand everyone's horizons.
It’s hard to say what might be helpful for me to share since I don’t know the full curriculum now. My brief experience teaching this so far tells me it is most important:
1 to set people up with an expectation of community connection around topics they care about, not lead with the profit potential.
2 to focus people on using tags to find content when starting, not Trending page for anything.
And 3 to focus on commenting on posts of others until one has built a following.
that first point is so important. a lot of the training i have planned for this will be centered around the ‘people’ and spending the time developing those relationships. i believe the rewards will come if that’s the last thing on your mind.
Jon, I’m totally on board with this. We need new entrepreneurial spirit on this platform, and STEEMSaavy is a great resource to bring that goal to life.
@jongolson wow this is pretty cool! I'm always learning in the Steemit world so it's great to have an info location to learn. Looking forward in seeing the updates of Steemsavvy and gonna be great for more new users to join here! :D Upvoted to support

I really like the name STEEMSavvy! Although many more people know of bitcoin or crypto and not of Steem, I think being specific will help both Steem, and curiosity will drive more people to the site.

Now that is great news. I try to come here as much as possible but i do admit i'm not here everyday. Maybe that is why I struggle on what to do here a bit. But i am loving that steepshot app on my mobile. I tried looking for steemit on my iphone app but nothing. You know if they ever plan on doing a mobile app.
