What joy when we spot species we didn't know existed[Esp/Eng].

Hace algunas semanas les vengo comentando que están apareciendo algunas especies nuevas en el fondo de casa, y me había comprometido a que les iba a tomar algunas fotografías para compartir con todos ustedes. Esta ¨especie¨ :  de aves la conozco muy bien, que sin importar que las fotografías solo sean tener siluetas, las puedo identificar. Son de esas aves que nos visitan casi a diario, tienen un hermoso trinar y acostumbran a cantar en horas tempranas de la mañana.

For the past few weeks, I've been mentioning that some new species have been appearing in my backyard, and I promised to take some photos to share with you all. I know this "species" : species of bird very well; even if the photos only show silhouettes, I can identify them. They are one of those birds that visit us almost daily, have a beautiful song, and usually sing in the early morning.

Las palomas son de esos ejemplares que nos visitan seguido, y tenemos la suerte de que nos visiten unos cuatro tipos de palomas. Esta es una ¨especie¨:  realmente hermosa, de las que nos visitan los ejemplares de mayor tamaño. Son de esas aves que acostumbran a estar en parejas, pero pocas veces posan en la misma rama; eso sí, escogen el mismo árbol, pero se dan un poco de espacio al descender.

Pigeons are among those creatures that visit us often, and we are fortunate to have about four different types of pigeons visit us. This is a truly beautiful ¨species:, and the larger specimens often visit us. They are birds that usually live in pairs, but rarely perch on the same branch; they do choose the same tree, but give each other some space when descending.

El nombre de ¨Churrinche¨:  los oigo desde pequeño, y hasta ahora pensaba que se trataba de una nueva especie que no conocía, pero haciendo esta investigación me he dado cuenta de que se trata de una especie que les enseño cada tanto, pero las veces que les di a conocer, les presenté con el nombre de ¨Cardenal¨¨mosquetero¨, la diferencia de este ejemplar con los otros está dada por el color, y resulta que estos son machos jóvenes, por eso no tienen el color rojo vivo de los adultos.

I've heard the name "Churrinche": since I was little, and until now I thought it was a new species I didn't know about, but doing this research I've realized I realize that it is a species that I show them from time to time, but the times I introduced it to them, I presented it with the name of "Cardinal" "musketeer", the difference of this specimen with the others is given by the color, and it turns out that these are young males, that is why they do not have the bright red color of the adults.
