Shall we talk about bots and good content?
733 VIEWS AND COUNTING!!! KEEP REMOVING THOSE VOTES!!
I spent money on bots, just like the rest of this trending page.
I deserve all of the votes I paid for, just like everyone else on this page.
I promoted my content for profit, votes, followers and visibility, just like everyone else on this page.
I got ripped off by @therealwolf because I used his bot exactly like it was intended, just like everyone else on this page.
Now, I got flagged by @berniesanders and his crew of assholes, like some on this page.
@appreciator and @rocky1 both ripped me off, apparently they are the judges of what is "good content" yet check out the rest of the poor quality posts and scammers they allow to use their bots.
@buildawhale also stole my funds and removed their vote as well - scammers
What makes this post any worse than anything else on this page? I want exactly what you do, I'm just not trying to mask it with terrible writing.
This post will be continuously updated/edited.
Thank you for the Flag @therealwolf - very shitty way to welcome a new user.
Update 2
You can edit this post as much as you want - this won't change the fact that you've created a complete garbage post and promoted it with 250 SBD.

Update
The last thing I am is a scammer - so here, take you trashy money. But be reminded:
I'm not supporting abuse on Steem and you're not welcome on smartsteem with content like that!
Disclaimer:
@fzek62442nd3 wanted to promote this post with over 250 SBD - title got changed before I could make a screenshot:
I don't care about the money - he can have it back - but it's about making a statement!
Do you really believe that I will let you rape the reward pool like that and put an even worse light on voting-services?
Your 50 SBD will not be refunded.
And don't act as if you wouldn't know any better.
You know how to use anonsteem - and probably already have an account here on Steem.
I highly suggest you send me my 50 SBD, or else.
Did you ever consider that you can't get accounts created here and anonsteem is the only way?
Or else ... what?
You'll spam a bit more?
Oh I forgot that one
So you want to tell me that it's ok for you to use 250 SBD ~ 450-500$ vote-value for this?
You're the one that runs the shady bot service, I'm just a customer.
shady?
I give legitimate users who are investing time and effort into their posts a way to gain new visibility - but you .. are just somebody who wants to profit from it - without giving any value back.
Profit? You mean gain users and followers? Isn't that EXACTLY the point of Steemit?
I am very new to steemit so correct me if I'm wrong... I thought the point of steemit was to provide quality content and gain views through respect and the value you add. I had no idea this platform was a 'bought and paid for popularity contest'.
It is really a shame that people are bringing their Twitter and Facebook mentalities over to this platform. We have, or had, the ability to use this platform for something new and different - a value based community founded on integrity, rather than how many followers you can get to vote for posts they haven't even looked at.
Anyone into investing or trying to turn a profit should be familiar with basic math. As this is a value based platform, profiting from not adding value will eventually deplete steemit to the point where steem is worth nothing and nobody uses this platform for anything aside from advertising and stupid posts that everyone who follows each other will reciprocally up-vote so they can all feel popular and validated.
-Just my viewpoint and prediction. I probably don't know s#!t.
Nope, you're clearly an asshole.
Fuck you.
You're a cum stain. That, actually, is a fact.
How dare you, tuck your string and take Midol. Bitch.
I think it's a war and in a war, their no winners every one has some losses
and I think it will never end people will keep paying for bots , and people keep downvoting people that paying bots and this game will never end it must have another solution an especially in a platform controlled by people, where everyone who got so SP can somehow controls the system
I talking about both sides the people that using bots

and people that downvoting for that
Beware - he is a scammer who stole my 50 SBD I used on his service to promote this post.
You're a lying, manipulative cunt. Except, I told the truth about you.
At least this self promotion had some effort
you told people that you using bots

but they don't care they don't look at your post!
and you have an original content I know I watch your video
Although I don't agree with their methods, they are at least trying something.
For that I give it credit.
People need to pull out their flags, I just don't believe it should be done blindly.
this what I talking about I agree 100% what the do but not the way they do it
well is there a way we can get them to unflag the posts or report abuse? I am just learning how to do things here, and the first time I payed for a resteem I got flagged. I go to the page and the account is brand new, only blank pictures posted and all his comments coming in are from people not understanding why their post was flagged. there was absolutely nothing wrong with my post?
Is steemit censored even worse than facebook, you tube and twitter? Whats even more ironic is thats what my post was all about. censorship.
save the drama for your mama
sure I will thanks captain Obvious

I will fly to my mama and will cry just let take out my paraglider
@whatsup

Oh, my god for me?

really I got a medal for crying?
oh wow I so excited right now
I think I gonna cry again because of excitement do you have another medal for me
that's two times crying
I do see your point but I think it's your own fault for getting downvoted.
Let me put forward another scenario for you. Imagine you created that post and it landed on the trending page organically. If you earn that spot after building a reputation from months and months of hard work. Now imagine as soon as you landed on the trending page, a brand new user who also had good content but nowhere near your reputation decided to spend some $ on his equally good content which happened to push yours down the page. Then over the next hour, good and bad content all paid to get on the trending page pushing your organically earned post out of sight. As a hard working honest contributor who earned their spot on the trending page, you wouldn't be happy about it and I don't think you would really care if it was good or bad content either. What you would care about is they paid for their listing while you earned it organically.
The bad content aspect of this issue is a direct consequence of being able to pay to hit the trending page. The real issue is being able to pay for the spot in the first place, good or bad content.
@heimindanger and supporters are downvoting people who manipulate the trending page by using bots. Unfortunately, this is what you did, regardless of how good your content may be.
The real problem is, people are looking for short-term gains by using bots and the knock-on effect of this is the trending page.
A position on the trending page MUST be earned for it to be a useful tool with long-term rewards for everyone who deserves it.
By paying for your position on the trending page, no matter how good your intentions are or how good your content is, is cheating the system because you didn't EARN that listing. You used a short-cut and effectively contributed to the problem people are unhappy about.
If you continue to post good content, you will eventually earn your spot on the trending page organically.
@richreeve I agree with you, but I just saying if you did something for the community and you have only 100 followers who will see what you did?
now if you first time on the trending page and you did just because how the system right now is managed is that a bad thing?
now as I said I think what they doing is a good thing just not the way they doing
and I did it not because of the earning but because I have not a large number of followers and I did work hard to create this tool, how else people will see and use it?
and honestly it's just for exposure not for the payouts and I did it only for this post
and I agree with you on most of the things
I get it, I really do but however pure and innocent your motives were, you still gamed the system to get to the front of the cue.
The Steemit trending post is a powerful tool where it is supposed to be the COMMUNITY who decides what is good content NOT us as individuals. What may be good content to you, may not be good content to someone else. This is how trending works.
So I know your motives were pure but you still attempted to stick your head above the crowd with $$$. None of us as individuals should be allowed to choose what should be on the trending page.
@richreeve I was emotional since I worked hard on that project and maybe I was complaining at first but thru reading the comments I now more educated
if I wasn't complaining I never learned that, so in my opinion, this is a good progress
and I think more people that got burned using bot votes need to put their emotions to the side and opened up to another side instead of looking at each other as a bully.
and I don't know if people that downvoted understand that but when just downvoting without a person understanding why it's just using force, the true power is when you educate that person and next time he will not use bots, not because of he afraid to get downvotes, but because now he understands why it's a bad thing for a community.
and I think it's a win/win situation and most importantly now that I more educated about that I will continue the footsteps and tried to educate other, don't you agree it's a good thing that came out of all these comments?
" If you earn that spot after building a reputation from months and months of hard work. "
Lol, you think this still happens?
is there a possibility of making two trending pages, one with an organic only trending, or a limited amount of bid bots used, and another trending page with no limits on the bot? That way it would give the reader some control on which trending page to personally support and read, upvote or share, and vice versa?
I followed the post of @ fzek62442nd3. But @ fzek62442nd3 has written his biography many times. I trust you @ therealwolf. @ Therealwolf - a honest person.
hey @lecuong2290 what drugs are you taking?
I want to try them myself lol
im trying to figure out why in the hell this post was downvoted?

https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@miss-j/roger-ver-bitcoin-twitter-account-suspended-charlie-lee-laughs
how do we find out?
You have a portion of my respect @therealwolf - I'm all for manual curation to sort the trash.
hey @therealwolf so what in your mind makes it ok to keep someones money and not provide the service you received the payment for?
And you want people to trust you?
Even if my suspicions are correct and this account was established specifically to promote flag wars, it would seem that refusing to refund can only damage your reputation with potential customers.
Who the fuck wants to pay for something when there is a possibility that they will never receive what has been paid for?

I hate those who steal what I'm trying hard, Please email support and call for help
This post gets almost $80? Are you serious? No wonder you got flagged. I would flag this too if I have more SP. Please do your spamming elsewhere
Flag him anyway
You're right. Even though it won't do anything to this post's payout it will atleast show my stance.
That my friend is how it works.
A voice is only small if it doesn't speak.
Shit like this shows just how FAR STEEMIT still has to go...but I can see these things before they happen...just like bitcoin in 2010...STEEMIT is one of those...but a ways to go
Agree, this is just a hurdle Steemit needs to get over to grow. It's common sense logic that this behaviour will destroy Steemit so hopefully, common sense will prevail and put an end to this nonsense. Quickly.
Other than flagging is there anything else that can be done to make people think twice about paying for a trending spot?
That is why I believe that one of the thousand causes of the price of sbd is also why this happens in our community. They should take action on the matter.....LOVE STEEM AND STEEMIT..
Stop donate your SBD to bot ... All gonna be waste :D
Yes, I learned now how scammy bots are - especially @therealwolf.
He not doing any scam... He just doing right.. you trying to promote a shit post.. Use bot service by the right way.. BTW you are not new...Because new user don't know how to use bot service.. Don't try to make us fool... A bunch of flag coming toward you. @msteemian also do the same thing and everyone know how he get treated.. So waiting for your turn ... That's gonna be so much entertainment .. Isn't it @berniesanders ?
You really don't get it do you? By just typing in some shitty lines, and then using massive amounts for upvotebots, you take away SteemPower out of the reward pool for real valued posts. But hé, you truely don't care, so be it. But @therealwolf was right. This is the only way for Steem to grow in the future.
And calling people scammers is really not going to help you in any way...
Get real, man!
agreed! like Bernie said, buy bot destroy steemit, except @ginabot.. hahaha
@fzek62442nd3 there are better ways to contact @therealwolf without spoiling his name in the public. I have not heared that someone did not get a refund if he/she didnt get a vote from smartsteem or any top bot . Steem chat, discord and writing him via his post and then having patience is the key...I do not like to see this type of mail here especially when it is not based on facts and negetive to someones image.
Thanks charles - I did told him that he won't get a refund for abusing the system.
Welcome and pls tell other bot owners to remove their vote on this post if the content is not improved...it should not be on trending ......what a shame for steemit users!!!!!
Most owners besides @themarkymark don't care about that abuse - sadly.
@therealwolf hello Sir, please how do I get on smartsteem whitelist?
@therealwolf I wrote original content and got downvoted by the noble knight of @heimindanger, but I must say they never looked at my blog or my content to see if it's a good, but they downvoting for the name of good content @therealwolf atleast read your post before downvoting so it's I guess it's a little bit more fair than what the other do when just downvoting without looking at your content
Good or bad content paying to hit the trending page is BAD for Steemit. The bad content is a consequence of good content being able to pay to land on the trending page.
Organically landing on the trending page is the only way that is good for Steemit as this is EARNING your exposure. Paying for it is bad for Steemit and only focused on short-term gains.
@richreeve so your suggestion not use bots?
@richreeve
now I understand the other side as well and why they don't read posts before downvoting and that because:
steemit community need to be educated not to use bots
and it doesn't matter what good content you have,
if people not educated it will never be stoped and all the steemanians will be used to fact that the trending page is only for money
I now understand that
My personal opinion is that all bots hurt Steemit - but this is an opinion based on the direction I would like to see Steemit go, others may have a different opinion than mine.
I would like everyone to focus on the long-term growth of the community as this will return gains with longevity for every current user rather than short-term gains for a few at the expense of everyone else including the community. (When I say at the expense of the community I mean, bots kills the organic nature of human votes )
If this happened, everyone would make MUCH MORE money for longer. Including the bot owners.
Do I think we should get rid of all bots? Not necessarily but as a rule, I think that any post which is using a bot for promotion should either be listed in its own feed, away from organic listings or at the very least, have a badge over the thumbnail image that made people aware it is a PROMOTED POST. This is actually the law in some countries I'm sure, where advertising must be clearly stated to consumers.
I would like to explain the biggest reasons why bots are hurting Steemit but rather than write it all again, I have already written a post that explains my argument in full: (Notice how not many people saw this post because I haven't earned the reputation or followers yet, nor did I pay a bot)
https://steemit.com/steemit/@richreeve/steemit-bots-are-a-serious-problem-that-threatens-our-community
@richreeve was emotional since I worked hard on that project and maybe I was complaining at first but thru reading the comments I now more educated
if I wasn't complaining I never learned that, so in my opinion, this is a good progress
and I think more people that got burned using bot votes need to put their emotions to the side and opened up to another side instead of looking at each other as a bully.

and I think it's a win/win situation and most importantly now that I more educated about that I will continue the footsteps and tried to educate other, don't you agree it's a good thing that came out of all these comments?
I totally agree.
I also think its such a shame because that content you created was very well done and I appreciated it. Don't let it go to waste though, all that hard work can still pay off with a bit of creative thinking which shouldn't be too difficult for someone like you.
Mark my words, if you continue to produce high quality content like that, it wont be that long until each and every post gets the exposure it deserves. Keep up the excellent work.
No such thing as organically on steemit anymorebuddy , if you ain't paying for bots to go on trending then you are self voting or circle jerking your way up there.
And I think that is the most serious mistake this platform has made since it's inception.
The moment a single bot was used to vote, it killed the reputation and trust of the voting system and skewed the natural order of content feeds.
Even with bots reigning supreme at the moment, I plan to build my own reputation and followers organically without ever using a bot to speed up the process. This long-term view means I miss out on these bot-based short-term gains. But I'm hoping the long-term approach will have the longevity of a solid reputation.
Eventually, I do hope to land on the Trending page after earning my spot the old fashioned way but I don't expect to stay there for long. I'm fully aware that that is an ambitious plan and probably doomed to fail but at least I'll still have my interity along with the knowledge that I have EARNED my reputation without gaming the system. :-)
abusing the system... IS THE SYSTEM.
It is based on FACT - I sent 50 SBD - he refused to give me a vote or return my SBD to me. He is a thief.
No one will steal your money here if you have a good approach. Your post is not good because it is aimed at destroying his character and many people will find it hard to believe. Calm down and talk to him in a better way...edit this post, remove his name and add a better content on it or run the risk of huge downvotes from the community
@charles1
I've refunded him now - since the last thing I am is a scammer! But he is blacklisted nevertheless.
You shouldn't have.
You made a stance that the majority of this platform, including the users of your service, would have agreed with.
Good that you refunded him for peace sake and good move with the blacklist. Hopefully , there will be peace and less drama so we concentrate on more important issue. Das ist sehr gut mein Freund.
Good words friend @chales1. People like you need in our community, above all respect among users. take care @therealwolf
@fzek62442nd3 why you are using this much amount on this nothing post are you crazy man . you will get no refund from any one you are not looking like a new users if you know how to use all the bots so it means you are an old users i hope you get a solution to not loss your money please work hard dear thanks
Stop donating your SBD bro..
I have not seen you send to @therealwolf 50 SBD. I'm just a member of steem and have read through your post
Lord! Some people are blessed with cash. Over $400 just to promote some content.
A fresh account at that with only 8 post and already 52 reputation. And someone would still say nothing is broken with steemit.
I think Steem bots are also completely profitable. I sent steem bot to SBD 0.5 and got back from the post
https://steemit.com/airdrop/@lecuong2290/airdrop-and-bounty-rain
So it was profitable
You've highlighted the problem a lot of us have with Steemit.
I understand that you don't know what's exactly happening here since this post have been edited a few times already. I suggest you read @therealwolf's comments and see the screenshots he provided then you will understand what really happened.
You shouldn't be able to buy your way to the top.
That's true as well but I think it should be discuss in an article that focus on that issue. And, this article (if you can even call it that) is not qualified for that since it's just a spam post of a disgruntled spammer trying rape the reward pool.
Steemit is fucked.
Did you flag this?
Nice @fzek62442nd3
Let's stop fussing. He will get his comeuppance.
Do something good Fzek and give a genuine content creator some love over here.
This hurts to see man and is rather embarrassing for the platform.
Well done for you being able to have that $$ spare for promotion.
Real creators would die for that much to spend on exposure.
lest's paint a good picture here for all to follow eh.
Cheers.
https://steemit.com/music/@jeffandhisguitar/pushing-to-get-my-work-out-there
Funny how things go crazy, once somebody points out how the system is being taken advantage of... Some things people don't want to hear, see or spread.
This is not a good post
You have clearly abused TOS of all upvote bots including @appreciator, so retracting our vote from this post. This post does not even falls in category of poor quality actually lower than that.
Cheers
Why the hell is this thing in trending? So many good article out there that barely gets upvotes and visibility. While an article consisting only of several sentences manage to get into trending. I did not join Steemit to read this shit. Flagged
This. post ;gets ;almost. Are you :serious.?No wonder you got flagged. I would flag this too....

I think the downvote button should be removed. It's so unfair because only whales benefit from these platform. It's easy for them to downvote minnows thus dominating the reward pool. I hope more people would realize most whales are just toying the minnows.
That's completely untrue
Than we can remove upvote button too.
