Waves Mobile App update: New Logo, New features and Bug Fixes.
Ecencials! 🌊 We’re excited to announce the latest update (1.1.4) for the Ecency Waves app, packed with new features, improvements, and bug fixes - all designed to enhance your experience and make the app an even more enjoyable place for you.
This update also introduces a new logo! Waves now has its own unique identity, with a refreshed design that’s more closely connected to the spirit of Waves while still carrying the essence of Ecency.
If you are Waves, Snaps, Moments or Threads user and still haven't tried dedicated app... You must try this app and interact with one or all of those short content feeds instantly and on go...
What’s New:
Floating Composer Button & Refreshed Navigation: Easily switch between threads, filters, and sections with a smoother, mobile-friendly navigation.
Improve Keychain/Hiveauth and other login: Methods of login re-evaluated and improved, transaction signing strictly following method of login.
Followers & Following Lists: Manage your network directly with follow/unfollow controls and updated profile follow info.
Wave Editing: Edit your waves and handle Hive post links directly in the app.
Updated Localization: Translations across supported languages are now more accurate and current.
Notifications Center: Access and filter notifications, track read/unread status, and stay on top of your interactions.
Universal Search: Discover accounts and tags quickly through the new search view powered by API endpoints.
Ecency Points Tipping: Send tips with updated dialogs and flows.
Improvements:
Feed loading reliability has been boosted for faster and smoother browsing.
Explore and Following feeds now perform better, with tablet-friendly layouts, polished icons, and optimized avatar sizing.
Composer and reply experience enhanced with better keyboard focus, layout spacing, and attachment handling.
Voting and poll flows now remember your previous selections, enforce integer weights, and ensure stable performance.
Bug Fixes:
Resolved issues with lingering vote dialogs, stuck follow spinners, and inconsistent follow/block counters.
Fixed app crashes during locale switching, theme changes, and initial load.
Improved GIF previews, bookmarks, and comment detail layout issues.
Fixed avatar resizing, profile fetching, and timestamp parsing problems.

For searches in the App Store or Play Store,
if we only enter the keyword "WAVE," it appears very difficult to find, and there are no recommendations.
We need to write it in full; it appears to be a long-tail search.
So, I suggest creating a name like "WAVE HIVE - Short Content Sharing."
It will appear more familiar.
The search keyword only requires "WAVE HIVE."

Tried to log in on android device with KeyChain but constantly receiving the same reply: Server timed out, please try again
On KeyChain side everything went smoothly: Approval and Authentication but Wave server constantly timed out.

Dbuzz was using different structure for short content (posts) and also seemed in active when it comes to moderation and content. It is still accessible via normal blogging side
