SteemFest 3 with our Kids
We brought our three kids to SteemFest 3 in Krakow, Poland. Ages 9, 7, and 5. They were definitely a novelty (other than our kids, I only saw a few babies and a toddler), and we got a lot of positive comments from fellow attendees. Several people told us how happy they were to see kids at the conference. Others told us we inspired them to bring their kids in the future. All in all, it has been a great experience. Jetlag definitely worked in our favor allowing the kids to stay up way later than normal (2am for bowling night!!!). And naps were helpful :) We have had fun meeting other Steemians and exploring Krakow. Here are some pics from the trip (so far--salt mine tour and closing dinner still to come).

Thats good to know! I have 2 littles and as a witness i wanted to come, but as a mother i couldnt leave them esp. my youngest is only 4 yo and we have no relatives living in the same country as us to watch over should i decided to attend 😅 cutie pattoties you got and awesome to read you guys had fun!
For a little more detail, my husband @lukestokes attended the whole conference. The kids and I sat through the opening keynote session, and that was the only session we listened to. Other than that, we were there for all the meals and a lot of the social things (bowling night, boat cruise, salt mine tour, art show hangout, etc). In between, I would take the kids back to our hotel and get them naps to make up for staying up so late and some down time. It worked for us and I'm glad we came :)
I saw your kids quite often, and whenever I did they are having a lot of fun and laughing their asses of :D
They (and I) had a good time. Only went to one session--the opening keynote--and then did all the social stuff. Haha. Lots of fun :)

Yeah, but we didn't get to see the inside of the castle. Heard the inside was super cool. Did you see it? Oh...and thanks again for the toys for the kids. They have really enjoyed them :)
No, unfortunately. Was told since the holiday was in full force, most of it was off limits. Got some good pix from outside though😋
