3era jornada del Plan Vacacional Música y Arte 🎭🎨🖼️ [ENG/ESP]
Greetings to everyone in the Lifestyle community. Today I’m joining you here to share another day in my life with you. This time, I want to tell you about how things went during the third day of the Music and Art Vacation Program at the Canticum Merú Academy. These have been quite busy days, but also very meaningful, fruitful, and rewarding. Today, Wednesday—midway through the week—the children began the first session with music. This week, we’ve rotated the schedules for music, art, and crafts. This is important for keeping the groups engaged and focused on the day’s activities.
Today, the children built on what they learned yesterday because Teacher Bethania taught them the treble clef, the staff, and where the treble clef is located; she also helped them connect the musical scale with colors. The children participated in various activities that combined physical movement, body awareness, and memory. It’s wonderful to see how much progress they’ve made in just three days, demonstrating how children can learn through play and various educational activities.
Saludos a todos en la comunidad de Lifestyle. El día de hoy me uno por aquí para compartir con ustedes un nuevo día en mi vida. En esta ocasión les quiero contar cómo nos fue durante la tercera jornada del Plan Vacacional Música y Arte en la Academia de Canticum Merú. Han sido unos días bastante ocupados, pero bastante significativos, fructíferos y gratificantes. Hoy miércoles, a mitad de semana, los niños comenzaron el primer bloque con música. Durante esta semana hemos variado los horarios en los que se dan música, arte y manualidades. Así que eso es importante para mantener la dinámica de los grupos atentas con las actividades que se van a realizar en el día.
Hoy los niños hicieron una conexión con el día de ayer porque la profesora Bethania les enseñó la clave de sol, el pentagrama, la ubicación de la clave de sol y además, se hizo una relación de la escala musical con los colores. Los niños participaron en varias actividades donde se unia el movimento corporal, la activación del cuerpo y la memoria. Es bonito ver cómo han avanzado en tan solo tres días, demostrando como a través del juego y distintas actividades educativas, los niños pueden aprender.
On the other hand, today we made progress on designing a particularly satisfying craft: castanets. We used cardboard, bottle caps, and wick. This is where the painting part came in, since the children had to decorate their castanets individually. Once they were ready, we played some games in the playground where we repeated the scale activity but with a points-based race. Today we weren’t able to do as much painting as we’d hoped because, before we knew it, it was already time for the children to go home. That said, at the end of the day we were able to do a little watercolor painting. Although they’ve been painting with colored pencils, markers, and other materials all these past few days. So now, between Thursday and Friday, we’ll be able to do the final art activities. Without further ado, thank you so much for stopping by. Por otra parte, hoy se avanzó en el diseño de un instrumento particularmente satisfactorio: la castañuelas. Con cartón, tapas de botella y pabilo. Aquí entró la parte de pintura, pues los niños debían decorar de forma individual sus castañuelas. Luego de que estuvieron listas, realizamos algunos juegos en el patio dónde repetimos lo de la escala pero con un juego de carreras por puntos. Hoy no pudimos ver pintura cómo deseábamos pues en cuanto menos lo vimos, ya era la hora para que los niños regresarán a casa. Eso sí, al final del día pudimos pintar un poco con las acuarelas. Aunque ellos han estado todos estos días pintando con lápices de colores, marcadores y demás. Así que ahora entre el jueves y el viernes podremos hacer las últimas actividades pictóricas.
