I have invested in traditional securities for over 20 years and definitely see the opportunity of this space exploding in the future given the efficiencies and transparency that can be achieved. I believe there have been some security tokens already issued but not on exchanges because of the regulation; they have been placed with accredited investors, mostly in the venture capital space.
Another company in the space issuing the first security token is tzero which is owned by a Fortune 500 company called Overstock. They have the systemic licenses and technology to launch an exchange to list and trade security tokens. They have also partnered with Polymath in the space. Given the trillions of dollar in these traditional assets, the space has huge potential.
Polymath is aiming to help with the technological, legal, and liquidity hurdles standing in the way of entrepreneurs.

Poly has a great vision to support many entrepreneurs out here in the crypto space. There is no doubt in my mind tokens are securities, and eventually US law will reflect that
Free air drop my arese! Applied and was rejected based on KYC regulations, as Polymath failed to upload my info and gave me no longer existant support/customer service info. Feel they likely advertised a free airdrop while keeping the goods for themselves

BnkToTheFurture is also doing a similar thing to Polymath. It should be good having some competition in this space. I'm just worried the regulators say only security tokens on these platforms are legal.
