Hi, Steemit. Any fellow kitesurfers out there?

Hi Steemit!

Glad to be here and a part of this awesome community.  Looking forward to enjoying what all of you artistic and talented people are capable of creating! 

I just want to share one of my favourite things in this world... kitesurfing!  Ever wonder what it's like to kitesurf?  One word: AWESOME!  Flying a massive 12+ square meter kite while cruising on the water, just the raw power of the wind, soaking up the sun and flying through the air!  I've been kiting for probably 8 years or so now so I'd consider myself intermediate.  Definitely not a pro as out of those 8 years I can only kite during the summer months in Canada.  If you have the opportunity and the time to learn I highly recommend you try!  It is much easier than it looks - but remember safety first!
