👩🏻🔬Cutting and sewing of a cap for a medical intern✂️🧵[ES/EN]

Hello family, welcome everyone! I want to show you how I made this simple nurse's cap. A lovely client commissioned it because she's a nursing intern and needed a cap design. I want to share the sewing process with you once again. I hope you like the result, which, besides being simple, is very pretty and practical. You can use it for other things, like keeping your hair back while showering, pinning it up to straighten it with clips, or when you're cooking. It's very practical, and here's how I made it:

Pasos a seguir: | Steps to follow:

Paso 01
Step 01
To begin, I will have the patterns on hand and we will cut each piece twice since we will be lining it all at once with the same fabric. I cut a total of 8 pieces: 4 for the sides, 2 for the crown of the hat, 2 for the base strip of the hat, and finally 1 bias tape 80 cm long.

Paso 02
Step 02
We will move on to sewing, and we will mainly do it by sewing one piece on the outside and inside, then turning it to the right side and stitching over it.

Paso 03
Step 03
Next, we will sew a small elastic band inside without stretching it. Then we will sew the double strip of the base all around the perimeter of our hat. This step is super easy.

Paso 04
Step 04
I finished by sewing the bias tape under the base to prevent the seams from showing. I did the same procedure I did previously with the base of the sides of the hat: I sewed one inside and one outside, then turned it right side out and that's it.

This is the final result of how it looks without my client wearing it. She loved it and left us a nice message ☺️🥰.

Hola buenos dias querida muchas gracias 🥰
🙏🏻 bendiciones @madefrance
