I've lived in Virginia for most of my life, and I think there's good choices here if you want to live in a less urban area, setup a homestead, etc.

Oh thats great, yeah I would be living in a more rural area. Not looking to live in another city, maybe 45 minutes to an hour from one but surely not in a big city.
Yeah I hear Virginia has the most homesteads out of any state in the US. So looking forward to adding another to the list.
