I'll follow your example and use my social media following (youtube, facebook, instagram) to bring more people on to the platform. My followers are German speaking but I'm sure many of them speak English, too. So let's all work together in making steemit grow even more ♥
As always good tutorial. However I don't like to share this on my social media. For me this platform has to be disconnect from all social media which i used in the past. Facebook was a trend, everyone had to have it it was like internet passport, I've got mix of people there however I don't want all of them follow me on SteemIt. Instagram I've used only as my online album, i wasn't care about Snapchat. Steemit it's something where I found freedom within all those social media, I'm happy if it grows, but also - I don't mind if it will not. The growing it's not always great sign.

@allasyummyfood in deed you've added much value to steemit community, well am still trying to figure out how to maximize the awareness and how to tackle some barriers here in some part of Africa which most parts has not gone smart, am concerned because most of them need this kind of social network to be able to pick the pieces of their lives that are messed up by their governments, most of them do not live up to 50 cents a day.

I'm new to Steemit and help is definitely needed as I navigate and explore Steemit opportunity. Keep up the good work.

And also,is it permissible to curate scoop.it content here? And where can I go to get help with questions that I may have, such as creating content with photos (using maybe pixabay) and using the program that is compatible on Steemit. I like using google docs, but it doesn't seem to upload well. I would appreciate any advice that you offer. Thanks a million!

There's one more way to add value: buying Steem power. there are a lot of people out there that can invest financially and if they do so in addition to creating content then they will create an ecosystem for their audience quicker. for example, with Steem power you can reward your commenters or give out rewards and stuff. that creates engagement and gets things moving.
Very useful advice for all Steemians and newcomers to our Steemit platform - there are several ways of adding value to the platform! Of course, the primary way of adding value is by creating high-quality and useful content - which you do a fantastic job of through your unique and very delicious recipes as well as through this awesome Steemit video series.
Commenting is also an equally effective way of adding value to the community since you are continuing to get rewarded for producing valuable comments as well as actively engaging the community and thus earning more followers provided that your comments are useful.
And definitely recruiting more new users to Steemit is especially paramount to the long term success of the platform, which will only continue to skyrocket past YouTube and Facebook the more people we can bring in to believe in our community. Not to mention, the price of STEEM will rise faster this way - great news for all of us early adopters and pioneers! :)
